C2C is delighted to unveil the 8 teams that have been chosen to advance to the cohort phase of our program. These scientists and entrepreneurs have demonstrated serious potential, and we congratulate them on their hard work to get to this level.
During the cohort phase, these teams will conduct hard tech development across test beds at Argonne National Lab, Berkeley Lab, Idaho National Lab, Oak Ridge National Lab, and The Engine, engage in further business mindset training through The Engine's Entrepreneurial Blueprint program, and receive 1:1 mentorship from our Warrior Team experts. The cohort will conclude their program cycle through a pitch and demo showcase at C2C's annual summit next June.
Supported by DOE’s Technology Commercialization Fund and administered by the DOE Office of Technology Transitions, C2C is excited to continue helping these teams as they accelerate their innovation to market impact!
Hearth Labs' Q Sense is a thermal-LiDAR sensor platform that enhances building energy performance and occupant comfort.
Hearth Labs makes Q Sense, a thermal-LiDAR sensor and analysis platform used to improve energy efficiency and occupant thermal comfort in buildings. Hearth Labs' customers include HVAC companies, AEC consultants and real estate owners, and it has raised over $2.5 million in VC and non-dilutive funding. Additionally, Hearth Labs is using Automatic point Cloud Building Envelope Segmentation using Machine Learning (Auto-CuBES) IP from Oak Ridge National Lab to improve its point cloud segmentation and analysis of building geometry.
